Ran the 315F on some muddy sites and it holds up on rough terrain, no problem. Tracks are solid, undercarriage is built tough, but if you don’t keep an eye on wear you’ll be dropping cash on repairs real quick. Hydraulics worked well for me, but I did have a minor leak once. Maintenance needs attention on this thing, like even minor stuff will slow you down if you skip checks. Parts aren’t always super quick to get if your dealer’s far away, so I keep a schedule and stick to it just to avoid headaches. Power and digging force is always there when I need it, so no real complaints there. Fuel efficiency’s legit, I don’t end up topping off every day. Just not a fan of some of the repair costs, wish stuff was easier to get.

Worked a season with a 315F on grading jobs. Fuel use was noticeably better than older cats I’ve run - saved fuel on long pulls. Swapping attachments is easy, which helped move from trenching to material handling without wasting time.

Had some small electrical hiccups: a dead battery once and a faulty sensor that threw warnings. Undercarriage needs regular attention; tracks wore unevenly on a couple of sites. Maintenance access is good, but the checks eat time and spare parts aren’t always quick to show up. One machine had a seat adjust that wouldn’t lock tight - annoying on long days.
